Humes will join the Syracuse roster after two years at American River Community College, bringing with her eight years of competitive volleyball experience. While at American River, Humes played in 68 games, tallying 670 assists. She lead her team to a second place finish in the Big Eight Conference with a 23-7 overall record, including a first place finish at the San Jose Invitational in 2011.
"We are very excited for the expereince that Bailey is bringing to the team both on the court and off the court. She is not only an expereinced player with great skills, but she will also bring her maturity to our team as well," said head coach Leonid Yelin.
Force and High Impact Volleyball Club: Competed in the 2011 18s open division at Junior Nationals ... Played for High Impact frrom 2003-09 under coach Tim Funk.
Honors and Awards: Earned conference honors after being named to the All Big 8 Conference First Team and First Team All State ... Selected to the San Jose Invitational All Tournament team for her performances on the court ... Led Del Oro High School to a quarterfinal appearances in 2010, posting a 29-6 record ... Earned Sierra Foothill All League honors in 2010 and was named to the Sacramento Optimist Team in 2011.
