Coach said you could have scored thirty in the first half, do you feel like you could have?
“Definitely. I feel like I could reach thirty.”
How do you come to that realization that you’re just going to keep shooting, regardless of the score?
“I know when my teammates are looking for it, when they’re looking for me to put something up. I like giving Mike (Carter-Williams) assists and he likes giving me points. ”
Talk about Michael’s ability to get the ball to people.
“He did a great job and he’s getting a lot better at it. He’s doing a good job looking for teammates. I’ve seen a big in him difference within the past couple of games. He could score as much as he wants, but it’s good he’s looking for his teammates.”

“We played a good half and my teammates were knocking down shots, so it made it look easy for me. I just try to make it easy for them.”
Whenever you have a game like this (13 assists) and you hear that Sherman Douglas has the record with 22 what do you think?
“I knew Sherman Douglas had the record for this game, tough game. He’s a good player.”
Talk about making plays and getting the ball to your teammates. Is that something you’re born with or something that grows over time?
“I think it’s a little bit of both. I think I was definitely blessed with understanding the game. I think I’ve worked very hard at it.”

How do you feel after these past few games?
“I feel really good, just getting a couple of games out of the way. I feel really comfortable down there when I get the ball and I just play my game.”
Is it almost about thinking less in there?
“Definitely. In practice, I’m just worried about playing instead of thinking, and I just carry that over to the game.”
Talk about Friday’s game against Arkansas, what you expect down there.
“Coach said they press a lot so we just have to make sure we break the press and score.”
