Lady Orange Dance Auditions
The Syracuse Spirit Program will host a two-day tryout session each spring and fall to assess the skills, abilities, and potential of interested and qualified candidates for one of the predetermined number of available positions. Auditions are intended to showcase a candidate's technical abilities, showmanship, talents, and ability to blend with current and prospective teammates' dancing styles. A short interview with the candidate may be conducted at anytime during the tryout. Actual attendance by the candidate at the audition session is required.

- Single, double, triple pirouettes
- Series of three fouette turns
- Gran jete (right and left)
- Center leap
- Switch leap
- Toe Touch
- Series of 10 high kicks
- A seven eight-count routine that showcases pom, jazz and hiphop style

MUST BE ACCEPTED TO SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY
a. COMPLETE APPROPRIATE SPORTS MEDICINE HEALTH HISTORY FORM
b. PASS PHYSICAL EXAMINATION BY A MEDICAL PHYSICIAN
c. APPROVED BY SPORTS MEDICINE STAFF MEMBER
MUST HAVE CURRENT HEALTH INSURANCE
COMPLETE Health Insurance Information Form
b. PROVIDE COPY OF HEALTH INSURANCE CARD
