John Laidlaw, 1929 (Crew)
The former owner of Joslen Tobacco Co. in Hudson, Laidlaw earned varsity letters in crew for the 1928 and 1929 seasons and was varsity swimming manager for the same two years. A member of SU's Alumni Rowing Association Board of Directors from 1968 to 1976, he was the chairman of SU's major fund drive in Columbia County and an alumni recruiter of students and athletes.
