Lewis C. Ryan (Posthumously)
Ryan, who died in 1961, was a varsity basketball player. He served on the University's Board of Trustees for nearly 30 years, was president of the national Alumni Association, and was general chairman of the Manley Field House drive. A lawyer, he was president of the Onondaga County and of the New York State Bar Associations. In 1953, he was appointed to a state commission to investigate a major reorganization of the New York State courts system.
