While fullback may not be the most glamorous of positions, it remains a key piece in the playbook new offensive coordinator George McDonald is implementing. Senior Clay Cleveland started the two times SU opened in a formation with a fullback last fall and played in seven games in all. Adonis Ameen-Moore, a junior, played a productive part in short-yardage situations in 2012. He carried the ball 30 times for 108 yards and five touchdowns. Junior Travon Burke started his Syracuse tenure as a linebacker but was switched to fullback in 2011.
