Ross Krautman has manned the place-kicking post in each of his previous three seasons with the Orange. He enters his senior season ranked fifth in career scoring (250 points), fourth in career field goals (48) and fourth in career extra points (106). Krautman owns the second-best field-goal percentage in program history (.787).
Sophomore Ryan Norton won the kickoff job last year. He also serves as Krautman’s understudy.  Â
Junior Jonathan Fisher handled the majority of the punting duties for the second straight season. He averaged 38.4 yards-per-kick and placed 18 inside the 20-yard line. Sophomore Riley Dixon returns as the primary backup. Dixon can also handle kickoffs.
Junior Sam Rodgers has two years under his belt as the Syracuse long snapper. He added the short snaps to his job description last fall. Senior Eric Morris has experience at the position and sophomore Keith Mitsuuchi enrolled at Syracuse in January 2013.
