Boston College Head Coach Quotes
Syracuse Men's Basketball
Syracuse vs. Boston College
January 24, 2018
Carrier Dome, Syracuse, N.Y.
Boston College Head Coach Jim Christian
What happened after your team hit four consecutive 3-pointers?
“You’ve got to give them credit. I mean, they hit four consecutive threes and went 11-for-23 from three. If you had told me we were going to go 48 percent from three, I would be ok with that. Our problem was that we turned the ball over. We had 17 turnovers. Plus, if you give up 14 and 12 points to those two big guys, it’s going to be hard."
Â
Syracuse came off of a week-long break, do you think that that was a factor tonight?
“They’re a basketball team and they’re playing at home. In this league, you have to play well at home and that’s what they did. Our big thing was that we had too many turnovers, 10 in the second half. You have to give them credit, they forced turnovers."
Â
Can you talk about Oshae Brissett's play?
“He’s getting better and better. At one point he was an 18 percent 3-point shooter. He’s not any more. That gives him a huge option now that he can drive it or make spot up jump shots that create room for (Frank) Howard and (Tyus) Battle."
