What did you say to your brother in the handshake line after the game?
“We just said good job. I said ‘I love you’ and he said ‘I love you’. That’s about it.”
What was the emotion like playing against your brother?
“I try to suppress it for the most part but there was one moment during a free throw where I was on the bottom and he came in and stood next to me and I (thought) this is pretty crazy. I would say in that moment it definitely clicked, but we were going up and down during the game so it felt like any other game.”
When was the last time you played Buddy?
“(When we were) 12 years old. We don’t play one-on-one anymore. It just ends badly every time. It’s more two-on-two or three-on-three where it’s not directed at each other. It’s probably better that way.”
