Syracuse University Details New Stadium Experience
 As part of its West Campus transformation strategy, Syracuse University will invest $118 million to create a new stadium experience. Significant phase one construction will begin in summer 2018 and include the following:

While phase one construction is underway, the University will begin scoping out potential phase two enhancements. In particular, the University will explore ways to redefine the stadium’s footprint by connecting it—via an enclosed pedestrian thruway—to Archbold Gymnasium, ultimately creating a seamless navigational experience between the two highly visited spaces.

By 2020, visitors will experience:
- A new fixed roof that:
- has a 40-year lifespan
- allows more natural light
- is more resistant to Central New York weather
- A new vertically hung scoreboard that can be easily viewed from all seating
- Significant accessibility improvements including:
- a new accessible entrance
- additional accessible restrooms
- an ADA-compliant elevator
- five ADA electric door operators
- improved ramp access
- the installation of closed captioning software
- the addition of accessible seating
- State-of-the-art sound and lighting systems
- Added WiFi capabilities
By 2022, visitors can expect:

- Air conditioning
