Sensory Safety Kits
SENSORY SAFETY KITS NOW AVAILABLE AT THE CARRIER DOME
The Jim & Juli Boeheim Foundation and Life is Washable, Inc. are teaming up to bring Friendly Access Sensory Safety Kits™ to the Dome. Individuals with Autism, Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury and various sensory challenges will now be able to enjoy all Dome events with the complimentary use of the Friendly Access kits, which are now available at Dome Guest Services. The Dome is the first venue of its size in the United States to offer sensory accommodations to its patrons.
Loud noises and bright lights can make it difficult or confusing for certain individuals to enjoy events. Friendly Access Sensory Safety Kits™ are designed to support individuals of all ages, with a variety of sensory needs, and their families at sporting events and concerts alike.
The Friendly Access Sensory Safety Kit™ is packaged in an orange drawstring bag containingan assortment of useful tools (noise reducing ear covers & ear plugs, antiglare glasses, small "fidget" toy, communication card, sanitizing wipes & tissues, I.D. wristbands, stickers and card) to help individuals enjoy an event with greater comfort. For more information regarding the kit and availability, please contact the Dome Management Office at315-443-4634.
The Boeheim Foundation is proud to sponsor the Friendly Access Sensory Safety Kit™ program and looks forward to getting more fans “at the game.”
The Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation strives to enrich the lives of kids in need within the
Central New York Community, as well as, provide support for eliminating cancer through research and advocacy.
