Syracuse University Special Event Parking Lot Etiquette
Welcome to the 2019 Syracuse University Football Season. Please be advised that for the 2019 season all West Lots are sold out. In addition, all parking garages and surface lots, including at Skytop and Manley Field House, are also expected to sell to or near capacity for select games.
Â
An important part of the Syracuse University football game day experience is the arrival to the game and parking. Therefore we are providing the following Parking Lot Etiquette as a guideline for all fans.
- To expedite entry into the parking lot, please have your parking pass visible or money ready for the attendants as you approach the entrance to the lot.
- Patrons are entitled to the number of parking spots they have purchased.
- If you have a trailer or camper or would like to set up a tailgating area or tent each spot which you utilize requires its own parking pass or day of game parking voucher. (Trailers and campers are permitted in the Skytop lot only).
- Parking passes/vouchers must be placed on mirrors or dashboards of cars. If additional spots are used, a parking pass/voucher must be posted in view for the parking attendant to see for each spot. (For example if your car is parked in one spot and you set a tent up in another, place one parking pass/voucher in your vehicle and hang one the tent.
- Tailgating tents/areas may be set up in green spaces or spaces adjacent to cars that do not affect car or pedestrian traffic.
- Patrons should not park vehicles on green spaces unless directed by parking attendants.
- Â Upon arrival at the parking lot, please advise the parking attendants that you plan to tailgate so they can help direct you to appropriate locations.
- Â Parking attendants will try to fill the lots by rows. Once the row you are parked in is filled and vehicle traffic is no longer moving through that area, tailgate areas may be set up in the front or back of your car.
- We ask that as you set up please keep in mind that there may be a need for emergency vehicle access around you
- Football games are a fan and family experience. Therefore we request that all fans are mindful of the Fan Code of Conduct as you interact with others in parking lots.
- Â Parking attendants and the Syracuse University Department of Public Safety are present to assist you. They are also responsible for enforcing the Fan Code of Conduct in an effort to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all fans.
