Evan Dourdas was named Player Development Assistant with the Syracuse men's basketball program in 2025.
His responsibilities include on-court skill development, performance and training support, player growth and mentorship and program support.
A former basketball letterwinner at Syracuse, Dourdas spent three years as an assistant academic coordinator for Syracuse football.
He served as head basketball coach at Manlius Pebble Hill School in Syracuse for four seasons.
Dourdas is also the head trainer and founder of Elite Basketball Training. He has trained athletes, including Division I, II and III college players, through individual sessions, small group work, and skill development programs.
An advocate for children with Alopecia, an autoimmune disease characterized by hair loss, Dourdas has made speaking appearances across the country about the topic.
He is a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School and was a member of the Rams basketball team.
