Todd Blumen joined the athletic production unit in the spring of 2023 after spending the better part of four decades working most closely with the men's basketball program.
Blumen is tasked with building, restoring and cataloging a comprehensive historical archive for Syracuse Athletics, as well as other tasks within the athletic productions unit.Â
Named video producer in 2008, Blumen was associated with the program since enrolling as an undergraduate in 1986.

He was named the 2011 College Basketball Video Coordinator of the Year by the Collegiate Sports Video Association. In his previous role, Blumen was the primary administrator for the men’s and women’s basketball XOS networks. He also coordinated audio-visual distribution for the Carmelo Anthony Basketball Facility. Blumen handled the video operations for the athletics department with primary emphasis on men’s basketball and the Olympic sport teams. He also assisted with the basketball program’s computer equipment.

He was a graduate assistant video coordinator for basketball at SU for two seasons. He then spent five years as a video production assistant. In 2002 he was promoted to video coordinator.

Blumen earned a B.A. in mathematics from Syracuse in 1992. From 1986 to 1992, he was a basketball student manager. From 1995 to 1997, he was a graduate assistant for the team while earning an MBA from the Martin J. Whitman School of Management.

He is a member of the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the Collegiate Sports Video Association (CSVA).

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Blumen was also the longtime co-director of Jim Boeheim's Syracuse Basketball Camp. He resides in Liverpool.
