Senior Year (2005): Played in 29 games, starting 27 … Named the Lucille Verhulst Sportswoman of the Year Award winner … Threw out eight runners trying to steal, increasing her career total to a school-record 33 … Posted a .972 fielding percentage … Finished her career fourth all-time at SU with a .986 fielding percentage (10 errors in 737 chances) … Had five doubles in 2005, moving her into ninth place on the SU career list (14) … Drove in two runs against George Mason with her first career home run … Had two hits in the second game of a doubleheader at Cal State Northridge … Was 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the game-two win at Hofstra … Had two hits and drove in two in the game-two victory at St. John’s … Tallied two hits in the first game versus Rutgers … Was 1-for-3 with an RBI in the BIG EAST Tournament win against Villanova.
Junior Year (2004): Started 27 times behind the plate … Split the catching duties with Katie Kaempfer … Along with Kaempfer, was named team’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year … Scored two runs and drove in eight … Led the team in fielding percentage at .992 (min. 20 chances) … Made just one error in 126 chances … Threw out 7-of-29 would-be base stealers … Picked off another two runners … Returned from a serious wrist injury that forced her to miss all of the 2002 season and most of the 2003 campaign … Along with Kaempfer, was named the team’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year … Was 2-for-2 with a run scored in the second game against Boston College … Had a hit and an RBI in game one against Pittsburgh.
Sophomore Year (2003): Played in 11 games, starting 10 before sitting out the rest of the season with a wrist injury … Started SU’s opener, marking her first action since the end of the 2001 season … Went 1-for-2 with two runs scored in the game … Given the Abbie Bigelow Award for Courage.
2002: Did not play … Suffered a season-ending injury to her left wrist after a preseason car accident.
Freshman Year (2001): Caught 318.1 of a possible 332.1 innings of the season … Threw out a record-high 17 runners attempting to steal and picked off another three … Led the team with a .994 fielding percentage, making only two errors in 350 chances … Also had just three passed balls … Set a then SU single-season record with six doubles … Finished second on the team with 10 RBI … One of three players to start all 47 games … Recorded her first collegiate hit and RBI in season-opening win vs. Northern Illinois … Drove in two in second game of doubleheader sweep vs. Utah … Collected two hits and an RBI in SU’s first conference win against Virginia Tech … Had two doubles against Penn State … Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the spring semester.
