Sophomore Year (2006-07)
Started all 16 games she played • Posted eight points, four rebounds, three assists and a career-best tying four steals in her first game back from injury against Binghamton • Pulled down a team-best eight rebounds in back-to-back games against Villanova and Connecticut • Against South Florida, scored a career-best 11 points and matched a personal-best with four steals • Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll during the fall and spring semesters • BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
Freshman Year (2005-06)
Appeared in six games, starting three • Missed 21 games with leg and foot injuries • Against Colgate, started her first collegiate contest and totaled seven points, a career-high nine boards and personal-best five assists • At Canisius, scored eight points and was 4-for-4 from the foul line • Versus Louisville, scored nine points, hit the first two 3-pointers and notched the first block of her career versus the Cardinals • Versus West Virginia, registered career-highs in field goals (4) and offensive rebounds (3) • Played 27 minutes and scored nine points against the Mountaineers • At Villanova, contributed nine points on 4-of-7 shooting • Also notched two steals against the Wildcats • Member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in the fall and spring.
Prior to Syracuse
Played for the Ridzene club of the Latvian Youth League • Averaged 15 points, eight rebounds and shot 50 percent from the field • Named MVP of the Latvian Youth League • Guided the Latvian U-20 National Team to a bronze-medal finish at the European Championship.
