Jennifer Meredith served as an assistant coach for the Orange during the 2019-20 season.
In her first year, Meredith helped lead the Orange to a 6-0 start to the season. Her first year included coaching freshman Polina Kozyreva to a decisive court-five win over No. 15 Notre Dame's Julia Lilien that helped Syracuse earn a 4-3 win over the Fighting Irish. With Meredith's assistance, Kim Hansen and Miranda Ramirez each went undefeated in their first seven matches, Zeynep Erman didn’t lose in her first six, and Kozyreva was perfect through her first four. Syracuse also peaked at No. 23 in the Oracle/ITA poll, marking the seventh time Syracuse has reached the top-25. The good times were cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic canceling the remainder of the season.
 Â
Meredith joined Syracuse after three years as an assistant coach at Missouri where she made a valuable impact which included helping the Tigers earn their first NCAA doubles tournament appearance since 2003. In her first year as an assistant with Mizzou, Meredith coached the duo of Amina Ismail and Bea Machado Santos all the way up to the number ten ranking in the ITA National Rankings, the highest at the school in over a decade.
Â
Before Mizzou, Meredith spent two years with UConn as an assistant coach where she helped coach the program to 25 wins and its first postseason victory in program history. In addition to coaching, Meredith was instrumental in drawing international recruits to UConn for the first time in program history.
Â
As a player, Meredith was a star at Tennessee. She was a three-time SEC player of the week, two-time team captain, and won over 50 singles matches. In 2011, Meredith graduated from Tennessee with a bachelor's in sports management.
