Dan Bolden joined the Syracuse football staff as a defensive analyst working with the linebackers unit in 2026.
Bolden comes to ‘Cuse after spending the 2025 season as a graduate assistant at Toledo under new Syracuse defensive coordinator Vince Kehres. Bolden helped Kehres with one of the top defenses in the nation, ranking second nationally in total defense with opponents mustering just 254.3 yards per game against the Rockets. Toledo also ranked in the top-10 in the nation in passing yards allowed (158 yards per game), rushing yards allowed (96.3 yards per game) and third-down defense (.290).
He brings on-field credentials to the role, having earned Third Team All-MAC honors as a linebacker at Toledo in 2024 before transitioning to the coaching side of the game.
