Joseph Cruz was named marketing coordinator for the Orange in Oct. 2021. He advanced to the role after serving as a marketing assistant since July of 2021. His duties include supporting the growth of the men’s basketball program and the football quad via enhanced community outreach, attendance generation, and in-stadium entertainment.
Prior to joining Syracuse, Joseph most recently worked as a marketing assistant at Wofford College Athletics supporting their basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, and tennis programs after he honed his analytics skills as Fan Analytics and Database Intern for the Kansas City Chiefs. Additionally, he has three years of experience working as an athletics marketing intern for his alma mater, Virginia Tech, primarily supporting women’s soccer, men’s tennis, and women’s basketball in their efforts to increase student, youth, and general fan attendance, while improving the in-game fan and student-athlete experience.
