Julie Hughes joined the Carrier Dome staff in July 2012 as Office Coordinator. She came from Syracuse University’s Network Communications and Wiring Services office where she served as the Network Coordinator. Hughes brings experience in office management, information technology services and is well versed in many aspects of University processes and procedures.

In her current role, Hughes oversees the Carrier Dome Management Office. She is the records manager, information coordinator and human resources administrator for the Dome. Hughes oversees all aspects of purchasing and vendor payments for the Dome and ensures that University guidelines are followed. She is the liaison between the Treasurer’s Office, Cash Operations, the Box Office, Parking Services and Dome Concessions for event requirements.

Hughes is a lifelong learner and earned a double Bachelor’s Degree in information management & technology / psychology in 2003, a certificate in legal studies in 2007 and a Master’s in library & information science in 2015, all from Syracuse University.
