"Averaging just under 5-11 as a group and combining national-championship level rowing with a tremendous amount of raw athleticism, we are very excited to help them develop throughout their careers at Syracuse. They are disciplined, gritty, dedicated to their academics, and committed to advancing our program into the national top 10."

Tara Eaton
5-1; Saratoga Springs, N.Y./Saratoga HS
Multiple medal winner at the scholastic national championship … Won the Canadian Henley in the women's U17 8+ … Medaled twice at the Head of the Charles.

Madison Falzon

Finished third at the 2014 NEIRA Championship.
Moore on Falzon: "Madison comes from a very athletic family. Her focus coming into secondary school was initially basketball. Rowing is a sport she came to later in her career. We are excited to see what she is capable of as she focuses all of her athletic energy on training and competing for our sport."

Maddy Horridge
5-10; Brisbane, Australia/Somerville HS
Finished third at the 2014 and 2015 Australian rowing championships.
Moore on Horridge: "Maddy and her family endured a very challenging process in getting to Syracuse. Finished second at the 2015 USRowing Mid-Atlantic youth championship … Placed third at the 2015 Henley Women's Regatta.
Moore on Kylander: "Olivia, like all Philadelphia coxswains, has a wealth of race experience coming to Syracuse. She has been in an extremely competitive program, where every coxswain must earn their seat through performance on the water. No matter what crew she was selected to, they always seemed to end up with a medal."

Won the 2013 rowing state championship … Finished first at the 2014 U21 Australian Henley.
Moore on Pearce: "Lucy is an exceptional athlete, capable of success in almost any sport. Her early success as an oarswoman was only outshined by her early success in netball. As a member of the provincial netball team, her rowing was limited in her third and fourth years of school. We have no doubt that her natural athleticism and competitive capacity are going to shine again when she turns for full athletic attention to rowing here at Syracuse."
