Knight and Crittenden Win ACC Titles

Justyn Knight and Freddie Crittenden III lived up to their billing as the top-seeds in their respective events, coming away with individual ACC Championships on Saturday.
Crittenden III came away with a dominant win in the 60-meter hurdles, racing to a mark of 7.65 seconds, just 0.01 off his career best for the second day in a row. He turned in a win by over 0.2 seconds ahead of second place finisher Kirk Lewis from Clemson to take the title for the second year in a row.
Knight also doubled up on ACC titles, winning the 3000 for the second year in a row, which was also his second ACC Championship of the weekend. Just a day after winning the 5k, Knight crossed the line in 8:05.05, less than a second over Virginia Tech's Daniel Jaskowak, to secure the win.
Teammate Iliass Aouani also came away with points in the 3000, finishing seventh in a time of 8:09.42.

In addition to Knight and Crittenden, Kadejhia Sellers also found herself on the podium Saturday after she finished third in the 400-meter dash. Sellers shattered her own school record to cross the line in 52.97 seconds and secure a bronze.
The men also got points on Saturday from Winston Lee, who finished in fourth in the 60-meter dash. Lee was nudged off the podium by 0.001 seconds by Myles Valentine of Miami, but turned in an impressive 6.75 second race to secure five points for the squad.
Sydney Leiher finished just outside the scoring in the women's mile, she took ninth in the event with a time of 4:51.94.
In the women's 3000, Paige Stoner followed up on her podium finish in the 5k with a time of 9:43.57 this afternoon, which was good for 17th. Teammate Madeleine Davision crossed the line in 9:48.90, which was good for 20th.
Regine Hunter finished 22nd in the triple jump, leaping to a mark of 11.54 meters.
To close the day in the 4x400-meter relay, the Orange women finished 11th with a time of 3:45.40.
As a team, the Syracuse men finished the weekend in fifth with 47 points, while the women collected 12 points on the weekend.
