Ford Finishes First Professional Campaign

Nearly averaged a double-double in Portugal
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Taylor Ford, part of the Orange women's basketball program's winningest class, recently wrapped up her first professional season with Sport Lisboa Benfica. Ford helped her team to a seventh-place showing in the Liga Feminina in Portugal.
In 16 games played, Ford averaged 9.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per contest. She ranked third on the club and eighth in the league in rebounding in her inaugural professional campaign.
From the time she stepped on campus in 2012 until the conclusion of her collegiate career with 2016 national championship game, Ford was a part of 99 victories. The Bronx, N.Y. native averaged 4.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in 126 contests played.
