Elena Paolini joined the Orange as the academic coordinator for women’s basketball and tennis in July 2013. As a member of the athletic department’s academic staff, she is responsible for providing academic support and monitoring academic progress for women’s basketball and tennis student-athletes.
Paolini has held several similar positions prior to coming to Syracuse. From August 2010-July 2011, she was at the University of California Los Angeles as an academic and student services intern for football. Paolini went on to spend the next year at the University of Louisville as an academic and student services graduate assistant for men’s basketball and Olympic sports.
In August 2012, Paolini moved to the University of South Florida to work as an intern in the academic services/student-athlete development department for men’s basketball and football. In May 2013 she was promoted to assistant academic coordinator for men’s basketball, football and women’s volleyball.
Paolini graduated from the University of Florida in December 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in family youth and community sciences with a minor in education. She earned her Master’s degree in sport administration, graduating from Louisville in May 2013
