Hokie-Week Talk and Parker's 250th Dominate This Week's 'Inside the Orange'

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (Oct. 18) - The name Kathleen Parker and the
Syracuse women's field hockey program are virtually synonymous. This week's "Inside the Orange" talks to the coach and her players about her 250th coaching victory. The show will preview the football team's upcoming tilt with the No. 2 ranked Virginia Tech Hokies with highlights, interviews and analysis. Empire Sports Network's Josh Mora hosts the half-hour program this Friday, October 20, at a special time of 5:30 p.m., where he will be joined by the "Voice of the Orange" Dave Pasch and Syracuse football head coach Paul Pasqualoni. The weekly intensive look into the entire Syracuse University athletic program will also feature interviews from important figures in the men's and women's basketball programs and preview the schedules of all SU teams for the upcoming week.

Empire Sports Network's Bremante Bryant will have an interesting feature on Syracuse women's field hockey head coach Kathleen Parker who recently notched her 250th career victory. The Orangewomen, ranked 15th in the nation, are preparing for their final three games of the season and potential post-season berth.
"The Alumnus of the Week" honor will go to former SU nose guard Kevin Mitchell. The current Washington Redskins linebacker intercepted a pass in the end zone late in the first half to help preserve Washington's 10-3 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
Highlights from the women's soccer games against Notre Dame and Central Connecticut, as well as reports from the crew/rowing teams at the Stonehurst Invitational in Rochester.
