Munger Named Empire Sports Athlete of the Week

Junior outside hitter Carol Munger (Canandaigua, NY) was named the Empire Sports Network Female Athlete of the Week, for the week ending October 27.
Munger 37 kills and 15 digs in home matches against Seton Hall, Rutgers and Colgate. She served two aces in each match and killed 30.6 of her attacks during the stretch. She is second on the team this season with 3.41 kills per game.
Syracuse returns to action Friday when it hosts Providence College at 7 p.m. in the Women's Building.
