Four Advance to Semifinals at Old Dominion

Sophomores Masha Kabanova (Moscow, Russia) and Shervin Saedinia (Woodland Hills, CA) advanced to the semifinal rounds of Flight B singles. Saedinia defeated Suzy Ihnat of George Mason, 6-4, 6-0, in the quarterfinal round. Kabanova posted a win over Jacki Deason of Winthrop, 7-5, 6-1.
Freshmen Zani Suttle (Roswell, GA) and Margot Ahlquist (Shrewsbury, MA) won their respective quarterfinal matches. Suttle defeated James Madison's Carol Cully 6-4, 7-6 in the C Flight. Ahlquist advanced to the semifinals with a 6-2, 6-0 win against Heath Whetstone 6-2, 6-0.
The Orangewomen conclude play in Norfolk Sunday with finals matches in the singles and doubles flights.
