
Tudryn Hits An NCAA-B Qualifying Time In the 200 Breaststroke

Syracuse University first-year swimmer Annie Tudryn (Springfield,
MA/Cathedral) set a school record and beat the NCAA B standard in the
200-yard breaststroke at the Nov. 18 Nike Cup in Chapel Hill, NC with a
time of 2:16.33. The NCAA B standard is 2:17.75.
Tudryn is looking to become an automatic qualifier to the NCAA Championship by making the A cut which is 2:13.74. She is aiming to become the first Orangewoman swimmer to compete in an individual event at the NCAA Championship since the organization began sponsoring the women's meet in 1982.
Liz Vilbert was the last Orangewoman swimmer to compete for a national title in an individual event at the 1981 AIAW Championship.
