Syracuse will be up against its fourth ranked foe when it meets Seton Hall on Sunday, January 21. The Orangemen have already been matched against DePaul, Tennessee and Notre Dame, each a ranked team at the time of the contest. SU defeated DePaul (92-84) and Notre Dame (79-70) but lost to Tennessee (83-70).

The Orangemen are off to one of the best season starts in school history. Only two squads had a better record at the 16-game mark of the season. Last year's club and the 1917-18 team were both 16-0 at this stage. Five Syracuse units were 15-1, including this season's Orangemen.

Seton Hall features highly-touted recruit Eddie Griffin. The freshman standout was selected as BIG EAST Conference Preseason Player of the Year.
