
Three Former Orangemen Clash in the NFL Conference Championships

In the day's first matchup, former Orangemen Gary Anderson and the Minnesota Vikings head to the New Jersey Meadowlands to face the New York Giants for the NFC Championship. Anderson kicked three point-afters and two field goals in a 34-16 win against New Orleans on Saturday in divisional playoff action. Kickoff for the Vikings-Giants game is slated for 12:30 p.m.
Qadry Ismail and Rob Burnett lead the Baltimore Ravens into battle with the Oakland Raiders for the AFC title at 4 p.m. Ismail caught three passes for 53 yards, while Burnett had three tackles in the Ravens' 24-10 win at Tennessee on Sunday. The game also featured Syracuse alumni Keith Bulluck. Bulluck recorded two tackles against the Ravens.
Donovan McNabb's Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Giants, 20-10, on Sunday in the NFC's other divisional playoff game. McNabb was 20-of-41 passing for 181 yards and one touchdown and rushed five times for 17 yards against the Eagles.
