Stalker Named BIG EAST Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Syracuse women's soccer senior co-captain Tracy Stalker (Marcellus, N.Y./Marcellus) has been named the BIG EAST Co-Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 15-21.
Stalker had stellar games in a 4-0 win against Seton Hall Friday and a 2-1 win at Rutgers on Sunday. Stalker set a career-high for points in a game with three against the Pirates. She assisted on the game-winning goal on a corner kick and notched her first goal of the season and second of her career on a penalty kick.
For the season, Stalker has five points on a goal and three assists.
The women's soccer team will return to action on Wednesday as it plays host to Dartmouth at the Soccer Stadium.
