Syracuse will try for its seventh straight win on Saturday when it takes on No. 5/4 Virginia Tech at Noon. After losing their first two games of the season, the Orangemen have won six straight. The Hokies enter Saturday's contest with a 6-0 overall record. Both teams are 3-0 in BIG EAST Conference play.

The series between the two schools is currently tied at seven wins each. Virginia Tech defeated Syracuse last year in the Carrier Dome, 22-14. The last time the two teams met in Blacksburg, the Hokies defeated SU 62-0.

The game will be televised on ESPN Regional. Dave Sims and Jeff Bostic will call the action, while John Sanders will provide sideline reports. The game will be broadcast on the Syracuse Radio Network. Dave Pasch will provide the play-by-play while Coach Dick MacPherson serves as the color analyst. Chris Wojcik is the sideline reporter and studio host.
