Anderson Earns Weekly BIG EAST Award

Syracuse University sophomore quarterback R.J. Anderson (Plainville, CT) earned the BIG EAST co-Offensive Player of the Week Award for his performance in Syracuse’s 39-28 victory against Boston College. Anderson accounted for 305 yards of total offense, including 247 yards passing (15-of-20 completions) and 58 yards rushing on 11 carries. Anderson improved his record as a starter to 10-2.
Anderson shared the Offensive Player of the Week Award with Pittsburgh wide receiver Antonio Bryant. Anderson is the fifth different SU player to win the award this year, joining Troy Nunes, James Mungro, Dwight Freeney, Clifton Smith and Mike Shafer.
