SU Football Signing Class Increases to 19

Quarterback Xzavier Gaines (Houston, TX/Westfield HS) added his name to the list of student-athletes who will join the Syracuse University football program today (Feb. 8, 2001). He joins 18 others who declared their intent to play football for the Orangemen in 2001. Four of those student-athletes, including Thump Belton, Jose Harris, Julian Pollard and Billy Wilson, are already on campus, enrolled in classes and will participate in spring practice.
