Thompson and Suttle collected the only win for Syracuse on the evening. They defeated Natascha Immele and Tanja Pflugfelder, 8-6, marking the ninth win of the season for the Orange duo. Suttle earned her 28th win of the season, which is fifth on the team and first among the freshmen. She trails senior Michelle Neveklovska (West Vancouver, British Columbia), 33; sophomore Masha Kabanova (Moscow, Russia), 32; senior Zuzanna Borucka (Gdansk, Poland), 31; and sophomore Shervin Saedinia (Woodland Hills, CA), 29.
The Orangewomen (5-7) return to action Friday, March 30 at 5 p.m. in a dual match at Army. The travel to S. Orange, NJ to face BIG EAST foe Seton Hall on Sunday, April 1 at 10 a.m.
