
Kott Places at World's Largest Indoor Rowing Competition

Rowing with no affiliation, Kott placed sixth in the international competition of 275 rowers. Kott finished fourth in collegiate level competition.
At the Reggie Lewis Track and Field Center on the Northeastern campus, Kott finished her opening 2000-meter heat in six minutes 56 seconds and five tenths. In the finals Kott finished with a time of six minutes 58 seconds and two tenths.
At the CRASH-B's rowers race 2000 meters on an ergometer (erg), which is an indoor rowing machine. Previous to the CRASH-B's, Kott had only once finished in less than seven minutes on the 2000-meters erg test. In Boston, the Syracuse junior finished in the less than seven minutes twice in a four-hour period.
The CRASH-B's took place on February 25.
