Record is a two-time All-BIG EAST Third-Team selection. She led the Orangewomen in scoring and rebounding this season, averaging 14.0 points and 7.1 boards per game. Record ended her career ranked fifth on Syracuses all-time scoring list (1,285 points) and 12th on the career rebounding list (545 rebounds). She became the eighth Orangewoman to score 1,000 points and pull down 500 rebounds in her career.
This is a goal Ive been striving for for a long time, its a great accomplishment, Record said. I still have a long way to go. Im excited for the challenge ahead of me.
Los Angeles also drafted Camille Cooper from Purdue, Nicole Levandusky of Xavier and Notre Dames Kelly Siemon with its other picks.
A total of 64 players were selected by the 16 WNBA teams in the four-round draft.
