Syracuse's varsity eight is ranked sixth in the US Rowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Poll and fourth in the Eastern Association of Women's Rowing College Coaches Poll. Radcliffe varsity eight boat is ranked seventh in the US Rowing/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Poll and third in the Eastern Association Women's Rowing College Coaches Poll.
The varsity eight's line up is the same for the third consecutive race. Nicole Garafalo (Liverpool, NY, Liverpool HS) returns to action after missing the last two races with a knee injury. Garafalo will be the stroke in the junior varsity eight boat.
Syracuse's varsity eight has won all five of its races this spring. The junior varsity eight has posted a 3-2 record, while the varsity 4-A is 2-3.
