
Orangewomen Race Toward NCAA Team Bid At the Eastern Sprints

Syracuse’s varsity eight, No. 6 in the USRowing/CRCApoll, has won all eight of its races this spring, defeating 21 teams. The varsity eight, which is coxswained by Heather DiLoreto (East Amherst, NY), is No. 3 in the Eastern Association of Women’s Rowing Colleges (EAWRC), Brown is No.1 and Prinecton is No. 2.
The Orange’s junior varsity eight, which is coxswained by Erin Gallagher (Upper Darby, PA), is No. 8 among junior varsity eights in the EAWRC. Jordan Brophy-Hilton (Los Gatos, CA) is bow and Nicole Garofalo (Liverpool, NY, Liverpool HS) will serve as the stroke.
The Eastern Sprints is the league championship of the 18-school EAWRC.
