BIG EAST All-Stars Go Undefeated on Foreign Tour

RENNINGEN, GERMANY Syracuse University head coach Marianna Freeman guided the BIG EAST Women’s Basketball All-Star team to a 6-0 record on its exhibition tour of Germany. The All-Stars defeated the German Under-18 National Team, 79-41, on Saturday, and Ludwigsburg BBC, 88-42, on Sunday. The All-Stars concluded the tour with a 103-57 victory against Ludwigsburg/Malmsheim, 103-57, on Monday.
SU freshman Julie McBride (Mechanicville, NY) scored nine points and grabbed one rebound in the tour finale. In the six games, McBride averaged 7.0 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.
