7/23/2001 9:18:20 AM | Football
"Football 101" will feature everything from NCAA game officials explaining the rules of college football, to equipment safety, to offensive and defensive strategies.
Pasqualoni and his staff will present a complete overview of football basics and the clinic will also provide a unique open forum for all women to ask questions about the sport.
"My wife Jill has encouraged me to hold this clinic," Pasqualoni said. "She's been very involved and we're very excited to meet directly with our female football fans and provide them with some insight and a behind-the-scenes perspective of the game."
A pre-game "tailgate reception," featuring Jill Pasqualoni and 93Q radio personality Amy Robbins, will begin at 5:30 outside the Iocolano-Petty football wing at Manley Field House. The clinic will run from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.. There will be door prizes and free SU football posters for everyone attending.
Registration for the event can be made by calling the SU Football office between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at 315/443-4817. Registration forms are also available at Tully's Restaurants in Syracuse, 93Q Radio and the Salt City Moving Dance Co. in Liverpool.
