Football Orangemen Add Two to Roster for Spring

An All-Cegep Conference selection, Sidibe finished second in the league with six interceptions for the 10-0 Vanier Prep team in 2001. He also registered 20 tackles and returned a punt for a touchdown in 2001. A native of Buffalo, NY, He played running back at Sir Wilfrid Laurier High School, gaining 487 yards and scoring 12 touchdowns in six games as a senior. Sidibe will major in sociology in the College of Arts & Sciences.
Cavanagh played for the past two years for West Valley Community College, earning First-Team All-Coast Conference honors as a member of the league's championship team in 2000 and second-team recognition in 2001. A three-year letterwinner at Saratoga High School, Cavanagh was a first-team All-Santa Clara Valley League selection as a senior. He also earned varsity letters as a pitcher for the baseball team as a junior and senior. Cavanagh is enrolled in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
