SU Invitational Information for Feb. 3, 2002

General Info: The Syracuse Invitational will take place on Sunday, February 3, 2002 at Syracuse University's Manley Field House. The facility consists of a six-lane 200-meter flat track considered to be extremely fast. The straightaway has six lanes. The surface is synthetic requiring no more than 1/4" spikes.Eligibility: Only invited schools and teams can participate. The meet will be conducted according to NCAA Track and Field Rules.
Entry: Please see the attached entry procedure document for detailed instructions. Entries maybe done via e-mail or faxed entries on entry form enclosed. The deadline for ALL entries is no later than MONDAY, JANUARY 28, 2002, 12:00pm EST. This will be the final entry, only scratches will be accepted after this date.
Declarations: All entries must be confirmed by telephone Wednesday, January 30, 2001. Call between the hours of 9:00 am and 12:00 noon. Scratches only, no changes or additions. The number to call is 315-443-4708.
Entry Fee: $100.00 per team (US), ($200.00 for men and women); $20.00 per person if less than 10 entries. Make check payable to Syracuse University. Please bring entry fee to the meet.
Weight Throw: Implement weigh-in for the men's weight will be from 7 a.m.-7:30 a.m. Women's implement weigh-in is to be determined. Check for time at packet pick-up.
Packet Pickup: Sunday, Feb. 3, at 7 a.m. in Manley Field House Arena. Entry Limitations: Two athletes per event and one relay per event per team
Sports Medicine: Athletic trainers will be available throughout the meet. Feel free to bring your trainer.
Showers: Limited shower facilities and dressing area will be provided for your team.

E-mail registration procedure for entry into Syracuse University home meets Listed below are the procedures for E-mail entry into Syracuse University's home 2002 track meets. This is the preferred method of entry.
E-mail entries to awbradd@syr.edu and cfpi@prodigy.net Entries will be posted at www.cfpitiming.com with a link to an SU address under the events results tab and the Syracuse University logo.
In the Subject line place: Entries to the Syracuse Invitational from (your school)
Body of Text: First line- Gender (women or men)
First Athlete's name (last, first), year in school (Sr, Jr, So, Fr), event, mark If the same athlete is in more than one event list the second event and mark on the next line. And so on for each event.
Second Athlete's name (last, first), year in school (Sr, Jr, So, Fr), event, mark. If the same athlete is in more than one event list the second event and mark on the next line. And so on for each event.
Third Athlete's name (last, first), year in school (Sr, Jr, So, Fr), event, mark If the same athlete is in more than one event list the second event and mark on the next line. And so on for each event.
List all members of your team that will participate. THIS MEANS EVEN IF THEY ARE RUNNING ONLY ON A RELAY.
Use H for hurdles, SP, DT, JV, HT, LJ, TJ, PV, HJ, Contact Name and return e-mail and phone number both day and night.
If your school is submitting both genders in one e-mail please list one gender at a time then the next gender.
You will receive a e-mail confirmation that your e-mail entries have been received.
