Lazarus Sims Joins The Harlem Globetrotters

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Former Syracuse University guard Lazarus Sims was one of 30 players selected to join the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters. The Globetrotters were recently inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
As an Orangeman, Sims started all 38 games his senior season (1995-96) and averaged 6.3 points per game and led the team with 281 assists. After SU, Sims played professionally with the CBA’s Quad City Thunder in 1998-99.
The Globetrotters begin their tour of Europe on Oct. 18, and they kick off their fall college tour starting Nov. 5. For more information on Sims and the Globetrotters, visit www.harlemglobetrotters.com.
