Orangemen Battle BIG EAST Foe West Virginia on Saturday

The Syracuse Orangemen travel to Morgantown, WV for a matchup against the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday at Noon. Syracuse enters the game with a 1-5 overall record and a 0-2 mark in BIG EAST play, while WVU is 4-2 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
Syracuse leads the series against West Virginia, 30-19. Last year in the Carrier Dome, SU beat the Mountaineers 24-13, giving the Orange a three-game win streak against WVU.
The winner of the annual Syracuse-West Virginia game receives the Ben Schwartzwalder Trophy. Schwartzwalder coached Syracuse and was a graduate of West Virginia.
Saturday's game will be televised on ESPN Regional TV. The game will also be broadcast on the Syracuse University Radio Network. "Voice of the Orange" Mark Johnson provides the play-by-play, and Coach Dick MacPherson is the color analyst.
