Orangewomen Advance In Qualifying Round At ITA Tournament

Sophomores Kristine Bech Holte (Oslo, Norway/Fagerborg vgs.) and Trine Lise Juliussen (Rade, Norway/Treider vgs.) survived two rounds of competition to advance to the semifinals in the doubles bracket. There is a possibility they will meet their teammates, junior Daniela Kaluskova (Prague, Czech Republic/Gym Budejovicka) and freshman Wei-Ming Leong (Ipoh, Malaysia/SMJK Ave Maria Convent) in the finals of the qualifiers, assuming both pairs win their semifinal matches.
Qualifying concludes Saturday and the main draw will begin. Those winning in the qualifying rounds will earn berths in the main draw. Kaluskova is already in the main draw for singles, while Kabanova and classmate Shervin Saedinia (Woodland Hills, Calif./Calabasas) are in the main draw for doubles.
