Raymond to Swim for 100-Yard Breaststroke Title Friday Night at Nike Cup

Junior Spencer Raymond (Idstein, Germany/Singapore American School) swam the 100-yard breaststroke in an NCAA "B" qualifying time of 55.74, to finish second in the preliminaries of the Nike Cup on Friday, Nov. 22. Raymond is not far off of the school record in the 100 breaststroke (55.48). He will attempt to capture a Nike Cup title Friday night, hoping to edge Kevin Furlong of Virginia Tech, who won the prelim with a time of 54.84.
