PROVIDENCE, RI - Freshman Kristen Conway (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) hit .442 with 26 kills and 14 digs in two conference wins and earned BIG EAST Co-Rookie of the Week honors on Monday, November 4.

Conway helped Syracuse (19-9) to a 5-5 record in The BIG EAST Conference with two victories last weekend against Boston College and Providence. In a 3-0 win against Boston College, Conway posted 20 kills and hit .436. Against Providence, Conway did not commit an error and hit .462 with six kills.

This is the second time that Conway has received weekly honors by the BIG EAST. Conway was named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week on October 7.

Syracuse returns to action on Saturday, November 9 when it faces Notre Dame in the Women’s Building at 1 p.m.
