SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse women's basketball team is offering a special season-long promotion to reward the most loyal Orangewomen fans. The 2002-03 Gold's Gym SUper Fan Card will become available at the Orangewomen's first home game versus Vanderbilt on November 26.
The Gold's Gym SUper Fan Card features all 13 of SU's home dates. Everyone who has their card punched at seven games will receive a free t-shirt. Any persons with nine punches will be entered in a drawing for either a three-month membership to Gold's Gym or a restaurant gift certificate package. Persons with 11 punches will be entered into a drawing for a six-month membership to Gold's Gym and a two-night stay at the Wyndham Syracuse. The grand prize drawing will feature those people who had their card punched at all 13 home games. The grand prize is a one-year membership to Gold's Gym and a trip for two with the Orangewomen to the 2003 BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament. The trip includes transportation, lodging and tickets.
All four drawings will be held at halftime of SU's regular-season finale versus Notre Dame on March 4. Syracuse University Athletic Department staff and persons listed on the Syracuse University gate list are not eligible for prizes.
The 2002-03 Orangewomen home schedule includes 2002 Elite Eight participants Vanderbilt (Nov. 26) and Colorado (Dec. 31). SU will also host preseason top 25 teams George Washington (Dec. 7), Boston College (Feb. 1) and Notre Dame (March 4). The Orangewomen also welcome Binghamton (Dec. 21), Cornell (Jan. 2), Miami (Jan. 8), Georgetown (Jan. 15), Seton Hall (Jan. 21), Villanova (Feb. 8), Providence (Feb. 19) and Pittsburgh (March 1) to Manley Field House.
