SYRACUSE, NY -- Syracuse (3-1) puts its modest three-game winning streak up against visiting UNC Greensboro (3-3) on Tuesday night in the Carrier Dome. The Orangemen own a 2-0 edge in the all-time series with the Spartans.

SU defeated UNCG in the 1996 Greal Alaska Shootout, 73-56. The Orangemen also prevailed the following year in the Carrier Dome, 83-53.

UNCG is facing its third consecutive road game. After beginning the campaign with a 3-1 mark, the Spartans lost back-to-back tilts to #4 Alabama (89-61) and West Virginia (64-54). The Spartans' other loss was to #2 Kansas (105-66).

SU's Carmelo Anthonylooks to continue his streak of double-doubles. Anthony, who is averaging 25.8 points and 10.5 rebounds an outing, has produced double-digit scoring and rebounding in each of his first four games.
